8 Safety Features

CLOSED MOULD DETECTION
The MAG cycle can only be initiated when a pressure build-up of the pressing force is detected. This ensures that both mold halves make full contact with their respective magnet plates during the execution of the MAG cycle.

MAGNETIC FLUX DETECTION
Release is granted only if the measured magnetic flux, after magnetization, meets the minimum safety threshold. Otherwise, an error is flagged. Any minimal decrease in magnetic flux during the injection molding process triggers an immediate machine stop.

TEMPERATURE DETECTION
To avoid excessive heating of the magnetic plates, which diminishes the magnetic force, temperature sensors are incorporated. If the temperature exceeds the predetermined threshold, the automatic production process stops.

CURRENT DETECTION SYSTEM
The current detection sensor monitors the current pulse during the MAG and DEMAG cycle. A release is confirmed only when the predetermined value has been attained.

MOULD DISLOCATION DETECTION
The position of the mold is continuously monitored during production. If any slight shift of the mold occurs due to unforeseen circumstances, the machine promptly halts operation.

DISTANCE DETECTION
The proximity switch allows the MAG cycle only when the distance between the mold and magnetic plate is below 0.2 mm. Moreover, if a distance greater than 0.2 mm is detected, the automatic production process halts immediately.

INTERFACE CONTROL SYSTEM
The automatic production process can only commence if all detection sensors are functioning normally, both the fixed and movable sides have been successfully magnetized, and the safety key is in the injection position. Any other condition triggers an ALARM, halting the automatic operation.

SAFETY KEY
The safety key enables the selection of either set-up or production mode. To initiate demagnetization, the LOCK and DEMAG buttons must be pressed simultaneously. It is not possible to demagnetize during the automatic production process.
